Megan & Dan

Set in the Finger Lakes in September, Megan & Dan celebrated the beginning of their lives together at The Barnes at Conesus and Hemlock Lake. I was able to be creative during the getting ready shots, hanging the dress, and putting the ring in her sparkly shoes for some fun ring photography. I even climbed on a stool to reach the beams to hang the dresses- being tall has its perks! The ceremony light was absolutely perfect, and Dan and Megan’s love and emotion added to the atmosphere of their day. Surrounded by close family and friends, the couple became husband and wife.

Megan’s portraits by the lake made me think of an editorial, with her bright white dress blowing in the wind as she looked towards the horizon.

After the ceremony, the bridal party went to Hemlock Lake for some gorgeous photos. With it being September, we caught the last bit of summer green and sun before fall set in. Megan’s portraits by the lake made me think of an editorial, with her bright white dress blowing in the wind as she looked towards the horizon. I had spent so many hours sitting by this lake during my college years, it was so thrilling to be able to photograph a wedding there too! After the lake we moved to the reception location, where the events, emotions, and community moments made for some beautiful photos. Congratulations to Megan and Dan!
